Warum liegt meinem SRAM Transmission Ladegerät kein Ladekabel bei?

If you ordered your bike with a SRAM Transmission drivetrain, it comes with a charger for the drivetrain battery. Some customers have noticed in newer shipments that there is a cutout for a cable in the packaging, but no cable is included.

This is not an error or an incomplete delivery.

    The Reason

SRAM has revised the chargers for the Transmission series and equipped them with a USB-C port. Since USB-C cables have become standard and most households already have suitable cables (e.g., from smartphones, laptops, or other devices), SRAM no longer includes a charging cable with shipments starting from this generation.

The packaging has been adjusted accordingly but still includes a cutout for a cable, as older packaging stock is still being sold. Depending on which packaging stock is currently in circulation, the cutout may be empty or filled.

    What This Means for You

    • You will need a standard USB-C to USB-C cable (or, depending on the power supply, a USB-C to USB-A cable) to power the charger.
    • If you do not have a suitable cable on hand, it is readily available at electronics stores or online.
    • You are not missing anything from your ordered delivery – the cable was originally part of the SRAM packaging but has not been included in the delivery since SRAM's switch.
