Configure your dream bike in our webshop and select Deutsche Dienstrad as the payment method. After the order is received, our staff will review the order, and then we will create an offer for you in the Deutsche Dienstrad portal.

Once your offer has been confirmed by your employer and Deutsche Dienstrad, we will receive the leasing approval from Deutsche Dienstrad. We will then send you a confirmation of the leasing approval via email and inform you of the expected shipping date.

Changes are only possible if they are value-neutral. For changes that would result in a change in the purchase price, you must cancel your current order and place a new one, as we would need to start a new process with Deutsche Dienstrad.

The duration of the leasing contract is generally 36 months. The transfer agreement and thus the right of use automatically expires after this period.

The respective employee is responsible for the maintenance and care of the company bike. Additionally, there is the option to have the company bike inspected annually by a professional service or through FullService. The service can be performed at a Deutsche Dienstrad partner workshop of your choice. The bike does not need to be sent to us for this.

The company bike inspection is an annual check (a total of 3 times during the term) of the bicycle at the personal preferred dealer on-site.

The inspection/UVV can be claimed three times during the leasing term by the employees, once between the 1st and 12th month after takeover, once between the 13th and 24th month after takeover, and once between the 25th and 36th month after takeover.

The inspection includes all services as part of an annual inspection and the services of the annual UVV inspection. The inspection/UVV is carried out according to an inspection list that complies with the specifications of the Service & Bicycle Association (VSF), as well as BIV and VDZ. The specialist dealer, as the expert, conducts the safety inspection and determines any necessary repairs and maintenance.

FullService is the premium variant among the services.

With this component, which the employee can individually order additionally, the basic company bike services are expanded to include wear repairs including wear parts. The number of service visits to the specialist dealer on-site is not restricted. There is no waiting time. The available budget can be viewed in the Deutsche Dienstrad platform.

Wear parts include, among others, tires, brake pads, brake discs, brake fluid, rims, bicycle chains, belts, cassettes, sprockets, chainrings, shift and brake cables including outer sheathing, derailleur pulleys, pedals, grips, handlebar tape, hubs, and freewheels, bottom brackets, suspension forks, and dampers.

In principle: If a company bike is provided and a salary conversion is agreed in this context, a monetary benefit must be taxed for private use. In the past, this was generally calculated at 0.5% of the gross list price, analogous to company cars. Since January 14, 2020, this assessment value has been further reduced, so you only need to tax 0.25% of the gross list price.
