Your PROPAIN arrives about 90% pre-assembled and securely packaged for transport. For the final steps, you will need some tools. You will need a torque wrench, an Allen key, a Torx 25 key, a shock pump, and a tire pump.
The following usually needs to be assembled/checked:
- Unpack the bike and check for transport damage. Remove transport safety devices, zip ties, and protective padding.
- Install the front wheel and secure it properly (tighten the thru-axle according to specifications).
- Align the cockpit/handlebars and set them to the intended angle.
- Insert the seat post – observe the maximum insertion depth (see the dedicated FAQ article) – and adjust it to your preferred height.
- Install the pedals: right pedal with right-hand thread, left with left-hand thread (tighten both forward in the direction of travel).
- Check the brakes: pads free, levers with a clear pressure point, discs straight.
- Adjust the air pressure in the tires and suspension to your values.
- Finally tighten all relevant screws to the torque specified in the instructions.

Be sure to use: The assembly and operating manual for your specific model in the Tech Archive – it contains the exact steps and torque values for your bike.
If you are unsure about a step, have the assembly performed by a specialist dealer rather than risking incorrect installation.
