The frame number is stamped or applied to the frame – usually in the area of the bottom bracket. For carbon bikes, it is on a sticker under the clear coat, while for aluminum bikes, it is embossed into the frame. It is also listed on the invoice.

Tip – best to do it right away: Write down the frame number and take a photo of the entire bike. This is extremely helpful in case of damage or theft.
