Q: What frame sizes are available and which body height corresponds to which size?
A: The Spindrift 5 CF is available in four frame sizes. The ranges intentionally overlap: in the smaller size, the bike feels more playful, while in the larger size, it rides more smoothly. The exact allocation is shown in the following table:
| Frame Size | Body Height | Riding Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| S | 158–172 cm | playful |
| M | 168–182 cm | balanced |
| L | 175–192 cm | balanced |
| XL | 188–202 cm | stable |
Note: If you have questions about the appropriate frame size, our support team will be happy to assist you – especially if you are between two sizes.
Q: What material is the frame made of and how much does it weigh?
A: The frame is made from a blend of carbon layup and weighs approximately 2.9 kg, depending on the frame size.
Q: What wheel sizes is the bike compatible with?
A: The Spindrift 5 CF can be set up with 29 inches, in a mixed setup (MX, 29" front / 27.5" rear), or completely with 27.5 inches. The adjustment is made via the so-called flip chip on the rear, which adapts the geometry and bottom bracket height to the respective setup.
Q: How much suspension travel does the Spindrift 5 CF have as standard?
A: As standard, the bike features 180 mm of suspension travel front and rear. The fork can accommodate up to 190 mm of travel (see article "Suspension: Fork & Shock").

A: Cables and lines are routed internally – either through the headset or along the side of the downtube, depending on the cockpit variant.
Q: What is the maximum permissible system weight?
A: The permissible total weight (rider, bike, and luggage combined) is a maximum of 120 kg, and for frame size XS, it is 100 kg. The Spindrift 5 CF is classified in category 5.
