Removing the battery

1. Turn the locking bolt by hand 90° counterclockwise.
   → The battery cover will be unlocked and can be removed.
    
2. Remove the hex screw using a 5 mm Allen key.
    
3. Pull the battery out of the down tube using the tab.

Installing the battery

1. Insert the lower end of the battery into the lower guide and swing the battery upwards.
   
   2. Push the battery fully into the down tube, turn the fastening screw in with a 5 mm Allen key, and tighten it to 8 Nm.
   Check that the battery is securely and firmly in place.
   
   3. Insert the lower end of the battery cover into the lower guide and swing it upwards. Turn the locking bolt by hand 90° clockwise.
   → The battery cover is now locked.
