Claim for Components

    If you have discovered a defect in your bike and wish to file a complaint, there are usually several options available.
    Since you purchased the bike from us, we are of course your first point of contact and are happy to assist you in processing your warranty claims.
    However, some component manufacturers also offer direct service for you as an end customer. This has the advantage that the defective component can be sent directly to the manufacturer without detours. This saves you about 1.5 to 2 weeks of shipping time.
    For example, Shimano also offers warranty processing through local dealers.

    Important! In warranty cases, we are always bound by the decision of the component manufacturers! We cannot cover replacement part costs/workshop costs/shipping costs or customs costs, etc. without prior cost approval!
    The process may differ for non-EU countries. If you are unsure, please contact us beforehand.

    How exactly does a complaint process work?

    Scenario 1: Processing through Propain.

    You have a defect in your frame or a component and would like to process it through Propain. Please use the Customer Service form for this purpose. We will then send you return documentation.
    Depending on the defect, a single component or an entire bike can be sent in.

    Scenario 2: Processing directly through the manufacturer.

    Some manufacturers like Fox or Formula offer direct service for customers. Simply follow the links from the list below. You will be redirected to the manufacturer's website, where the exact procedure will be explained to you.

    Scenario 3: Processing by a local workshop or a Propain Service Partner.

    Most component manufacturers also work with local specialty shops. A local workshop can therefore also submit warranty cases to the manufacturers. It is best to contact the bike shop beforehand and inquire whether they can send the component for you. If there are any fees associated with processing the warranty claim, please contact us in advance.

    X-Fusion

    What should I do?

    If there is a problem with an installed X-Fusion component on your bike, you can quickly and easily process the complaint directly through the official German service partner Lemon Shoxs. This speeds up processing and usually gets your bike back on the trail much faster.

    For the report, you only need your PROPAIN invoice. For leasing bikes, the takeover confirmation is sufficient.

    Fox

    The warranty processing is done directly through Fox or the respective official distributor.
    In Germany, Cosmic Sports is the official and sole contact.

    In the first year, warranty claims must be processed through Cosmic Sports. If the fork or shock is opened by an unauthorized third party, the warranty claim is void.

    The Fox dealer certificate confirms that a dealer is trained for Fox suspension systems. However, it does not authorize them to process warranty claims on behalf of Fox.
