Due to its geometry and frame design, the Hugene is only intended to be used with 29" wheels; therefore, it is not possible to use 27.5" wheels. When compared with 27.5" wheels, 29" wheels are better for riding uphill and are easier handle on rocky terrain when riding downhill.
