    This FAQ answers the most common questions about the drivetrain of the Spindrift 5 AL.

    Q: What bottom bracket is installed?

    A: A bottom bracket in the BSA-73 standard (threaded) with a chainline of 55 mm (Boost) is installed.

    Q: Which drivetrains are compatible with the Spindrift 5 AL?

    A: The bike is designed for SRAM Eagle transmission drivetrains (1x12, Direct-Mount) – both mechanical and electronic:

    • SRAM Eagle 70 Transmission
    • SRAM GX Eagle Transmission
    • SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission
    • SRAM XX Eagle Transmission

    Q: What is the crank length and axle standard of the bike?

    A: It comes standard with 170 mm crank arms with a DUB Wide axle.

    Q: What chainring is installed and is a chain guide possible?

    A: The chainring has an offset of 3 mm with a chainline of 52–55 mm (Boost); a 32-tooth chainring is installed as standard. A chain guide can be mounted using an ISCG-05 adapter (plug-in).

    Q: What brake mount does the rear end have?

    A: There is a Post-Mount for 180 mm installed at the rear. The front brake mount depends on the fork installed.
