What do I need to consider when placing an order?
My company bike is only available for customers with a German residence. Check whether the accessories you want are leaseable. An overview of leaseable accessories can be found here. Please also fill out the form carefully so that we have all the information we need to create the offer, especially the offer code.
How does the ordering process work?
Configure your dream bike in our webshop and select "My Company Bike" as the payment method. After the order is received, our staff will review it, and then we will create an offer for you in the My Company Bike portal.
Once your offer has been confirmed by your employer and by My Company Bike, we will receive the leasing approval from My Company Bike. We will then send you an email confirming the leasing approval and inform you of the expected shipping date.
How long does it take to receive my offer?
Usually within 1-2 business days.
Can I make changes after placing the order?
Changes are only possible if they are value-neutral. For changes that would lead to a change in the purchase price, you must cancel your current order and place a new one, as we then need to start a new process with My Company Bike.
What is the difference between a "regular" bike and a company bike?
A company bike offers you the advantage that it can be leased through your employer. You pay a favorable leasing rate for 36 months through salary conversion in kind. You save up to 40% of the acquisition costs compared to a direct purchase.
Additionally, the leasing rate and insurance rate are included in the conversion. A service package (maintenance and inspection) can be booked as well.
Furthermore, you can use your company bike privately or even exclusively.
Can other people use my company bike?
People registered in your household are allowed to use the company bike.
How do I log into the mein-dienstrad.de portal?
Visit My Company Bike and click on "Log In" in the menu bar. The first login is done through registration. This registration is only necessary once. You will need your company's partner code for this. Once the registration is complete, log in again, and you will be logged into the portal.
Can I choose a discounted bike as my company bike?
Yes, that is possible. The reduced price also lowers the leasing and insurance rates. However, the monetary benefit – that is, the tax burden for the company bike – is not based on the actual purchase price, but on the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). This can affect the overall savings through the leasing model for heavily discounted bikes.
How do I report damage to my company bike?
In case of damage, please contact us by email at schaden@baronmobil.com – including your personal details and a brief description of the incident. My Company Bike will contact you via email and provide you with the necessary information and/or documents so that you can report the damage in a timely manner (within 14 days of the date of damage).
In case of theft and vandalism, you must file a police report within 24 hours of discovering the act, including the frame number of your company bike.
What does my service contract include?

What is the "Mobility Guarantee" from My Company Bike?
Do you have a breakdown on the road? With the mobility guarantee from mein-dienstrad.de, that's no problem. Quick assistance is guaranteed.

What happens after 36 months?
You can configure a brand new Propain dream bike immediately after the end of the leasing period and lease it through your employer. The advantage is that you will always have a bike that is up to date with the latest technology and avoid expensive repairs. My Company Bike will pick up your old company bike free of charge. There is also a non-guaranteed option for you to take over the company bike after the leasing period.
Are there requirements for a bike lock?
Yes, the bike lock must have a minimum value of 49 euros (gross). Combination locks are not allowed.
What is a UVV inspection?
UVV stands for accident prevention regulations. The regulations are issued by the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV). The DGUV is the umbrella organization of the commercial employers' liability insurance associations and accident insurance funds in Germany. The UVV refers to Paragraph 57 of the DGUV Regulation 70.
The annual safety check for company bikes includes a total of 50 points. This includes checking the frame, brakes, lighting, wheel and bottom bracket, as well as the tires. For an e-bike, the motor is also checked. The UVV is a visual inspection, not a maintenance check.
Since company bikes are classified as vehicles used for business purposes, you must fulfill certain obligations. You need to perform a brief check of your company bike daily before use to ensure that it is in a safe operational condition.
